Ben Rothey is an Illustrator and Printmaker, obsessed detail who has developed a painstaking approach to image making, combining intensely detailed linework with subtle colour  to create both stylised and (more realistic) work.

A recent graduate from Norwich University College of the Arts, Ben grew up travelling back and forward between England, South Africa, Kenya, Namibia and Botswana and these experiences heavily inform his work, from the style of his drawing to the muted colour palette which has become his signature.

Recently arrived in London having previously worked in Norwich and Bath Ben hopes that soon people will exchange shiny trinkets for his work which he will accumulate to fund his life… well that’s the plan anyways.
